Sasikarn Vongin is a London-based typeface designer. During her BA study on Communication Design in Bangkok, she grew her interest in typeface design. She then joined Cadson Demak, a type foundry in Thailand, working as a type designer for 3 years before receiving her degree from MA Typeface Design from the University of Reading in 2017.
Apart from hands-on design work, she has experience in leading workshops, such as Totem; a project based in Bangkok for anyone who’s passionate in typeface design to design their own font. She also gave public talks on her projects in several places nationally and internationally. She had the chance to also give lectures on typeface design and typography at local universities in Bangkok.
