The jury decided that the evaluation of the text and display styles have to be completely independently, because the text typefaces and display typefaces in general are not comparable. This is the reason, why the typeface Zarid Arabic could receive 1st and 2nd prize. In this regard category A, the only category that allows display styles, could have had two 1st prizes for the same typeface. |
